Hi, 大家好,还记得我吗?

我是2014年3月广州站Final被拒的一员,相信有一些人都看过我的面经。

被拒后,因为辞掉了在读期间光鲜实习,我经历了几个月的不断面试、找工作,那时候的确是人生的低潮。

现在,每天都提早1个半小时到公司,一方面是太晚挤不上公交,更重要的是每天我利用这一点点的时间上论坛、翻各种帖子。

每每看着这些帖子,你都会想着是自己在飞,每天都打了鸡血的工作。

最快乐不是实现梦想,而是,为梦想而为之奋斗的过程,不是吗?

为什么写这个帖子?

看到JMS写得一句话,在EK Introduction的一天,Trainer说了一句话:你们被EK选中,不是因为你漂亮,而是因为你的性格好。

所以..一来为大家分享不同地方来的资讯,二来,记录我实现梦想的过程。

分享,你们觉得有用,会让我很开心。你们开心,我多分享,这样是个良性循环,不是吗?

又或者有一天,真的要飞的时候,飞的累了,飞的想回家了,再回看这个帖子,我会不会更加appreciate这一份工作?

论坛里,很多JMS加微信,说,为什么EK还不要我。。我想说,是我还没有展现最好的自己的。

有禁面小伙伴打给了FASCO,FASCO说一天都不能少。

Final的日期是3月27号,6个月解禁面——9月27号,

和禁面小伙伴不断地调侃,每天不断的为自己打鸡血。

来多三次大姨妈(看你月头还是月末),发多三个月的工资,攒够卖身钱

又或者我们可以这样看,过个中秋,向个国庆,再过一个生日! Bum ! 11月就可以去了!哈哈哈!

距离解禁面倒计时:31天

每天我都会看看这一段文字,摘自《遇见未知的自己》,张淑芬。
这一小节叫做——心想事成的秘密

当你真心想要一样东西的时候,你身上散发出来的就是那种能量的振动频率,然后全宇宙就会联合起来帮助你达到你想要的东西。那就是不仅仅在思想层面而已,你必须打心眼里渴望这个东西,每次想的时候,都会到了浑然忘我的境界。而且最有威力的是,让自己随时随地都处在你已经得到了你想要的东西之后的感受。而且视觉的观想是最重要的,你可以每天都在脑海里面演练你已经拥有你想要的东西的画面,细节愈清楚愈好。这样去观想并且去经历那种感受,让你每个细胞都充满信心地在召唤它想要的东西。宇宙并不知道你正在发散的振动频率是因为你观察到的或是实际经历的事物,还是你记得的或是想象的事物。它只是接收到了你振动的频率,然后涌和它相配的事物做出响应。 知道了心想事成的秘密之后,你采取行动的国策应该是毫不费力而又充满喜悦的,这样不但效果更好,你也乐得轻松。管好自己的事,别理他人的事。很重要的就是,你想要的东西必须愈真实、愈清楚愈好。你要把自己想要的东西定义清楚,这样宇宙才能知道你究竟想要什么。


想要成为一个Cabin Crew,或者服务业里的人都应该有个特质:“乐于助人”, 打从心底里面为帮到别人感到开心。
自然而然,那时候亲和力就会出来了。

在日常生活中,这样的场景是不是很熟悉呢?
出地铁口
A:你好,请问xx广场在哪里?
工作人员:我是新来的,我也不太清楚。你自己去看看啦。
A:.....


这个例子:
A:你好,请问xx广场在哪里?
工作人员:很抱歉,这个具体地址我暂时还不清楚,您可以稍等一下吗?我问一下入职比较久同事。
实在抱歉,同事也没有给我太详细地信息。我可以帮你用我的手机查一下。
就在A出口,但还是有点距离,(1公里左右),出站你可以到公交站坐xxx路车。这里打车不太方便,xxx


换做,你是顾客,你比较更加喜欢哪个志愿者呢?
这种例子,想要说的就是。。Problem Solve(解决问题能力)
无论是任何情况,你只要把问题解决了,顾客就开心。。
这是不是,很熟悉呢? 对..Group Dissicusion(AD)。


每天,在上班的路上,遇到一路迷茫问路的人,在公交站,不知道坐几路车的老奶奶。
广交会期间,在做兼职的时候,刚在酒店下车的姑娘,吐得一塌糊涂,想必她是准备在见客户的路上。
递上手上的水,还有湿纸巾。希望她那一天还一切都顺利。
在下班公交途中,面前的大婶还是吐。。身边的人都避而远之,抽出几张纸巾给大婶。。然后再避开(一看到吐自己就想吐。。)
当自己帮助到别人的时候,心情真的会好很多。当身边的人需要帮助的时候,主动伸出援手,哪怕只是帮别人按着电梯,哪怕只是把一个出租车让给人。

第一次看这个视频,被震撼到的是,描述空乘虽担任了其他不同角色,但最终要的角色是,朋友。
再看n多遍后,片头里有一段打油诗。。

Roses are red是一首著名英格兰诗歌,也指由这首诗引发出的一系列打油诗。它常被认为是一首爱情诗,也被编成民歌传唱。改版了的诗歌太好笑了。

我是这样想的,beef or chicken的确是空乘提供服务中的一种,这份工作有很多的不被理解。
作为一名CC,你会把你的牛肉与鸡肉当做银子和金子吗?

竟然还有10天久解禁面了!
看接了GC,到了迪拜培训的姑娘的帖子,培训官Orientation就说,我们录用你,不是因为你美,而是因为你们性格好。

基本上那种性格好,就是感染力很强,一看你就很开心的那种吧。
而,我在三月份的时候,的确没有展现这一边。
所以吼!上星期,我就开始了我的salsa 拉丁舞课!
就是要把那种听到音乐就high的性格发挥得淋漓尽致!

跟小伙伴在倒数,虽然离解禁面还有10天,可是等EK 11月份来还是有一段时间的。
但是不怕,直接加班加到国庆,然后国庆是农历生日哟,好运来!
再来两次大姨妈,再发两次工资!

放假放10天!!
国庆回来,FASCO估计就会公布EK什么时候来了!

9月上海站 AD复试前会议
萌子姐说:QR10、11月份快来了,之前没来是因为合同一直没弄妥,这次来了可能会带很多人走。
EK 有三不要,招风耳不要,大脸不要,痘痘不要。

摸高212,但是还是要争取到214啊,万一他们真的提高了一点点的标准。。

有姑娘问我有点o型腿怎么办,个人的判断是觉得OK的。在2014年3月广州,他给我们放的招聘视频,日本妹子就是O型腿的。

I am crew with EK. Been here a few years. One of the biggest problems here is the crew, the new crew. In the last year we have had a huge decline in standards with regards to the new crew coming in. They are too young and think moving to Dubai is a holiday and they can fly around the world and not do any work. At the end of the day this is a job. A hard job, a very TIRING job. Some of the crew I fly with are literally just like children, need to be constantly told what to do, rude, immature, want to sit down the whole entire flight and not do ANYTHING. Not all, some are absolutely fantastic, the difference is the maturity for sure, some crew don't want to take responsibility and grow up.

'Enhance the fun experience' is how you ended your post. This is a job at the end of the day, only you can make it fun for yourself.

So regarding accommodation. EK state you will be placed in company accommodation, they never make a promise to put you in the most desirable location in Dubai, SZR for example. Watch the recruitment videos online, you will see they NEVER mention where accommodation is. The accommodation you are referring to in the middle of the desert, is in the middle of no where BUT it is the highest quality accommodation we have, if you have a car its great, if not then yeah its a bit crap, but remember its paid for by the company you have no bills so can you really complain? Yes but its give and take.

Salaries are NEVER withheld , sorry don't know how are why you assume this? Salary is better than cabin crew jobs in Europe, remember, this is tax free. They never withhold any salary though so please don't start spreading rumors...

We work HARD. Well some of us do. Most crew are very lazy sorry to say, and don't want to do anything. We fly a lot, yearly average I flew 950 hours in one year which is around 80 a month. I guess its a lot. Some months are less maybe 60 depends if I have leave, some more can be 115 if I swap onto longer flights and want more cash. If you have a month without leave you can expect to get a roster with around 85-90 rostered hours, you can swap for less or more, up to you.

Some flights are long and hard, for example Nairobi turnaround, 5 hour to Nairobi 5 hour back to Dubai with an hour or two on the ground, its a long day, depart Dubai 10:45 get back 22:45. Its legal though, UK charter airlines have even longer days flying from UK to EGYPT and back! Another horrible flight is Chennai, depart Dubai 2:45am, get back 12:15 in the afternoon, yuk I hate it but its work, not like you going to have this flight every month. Then again we also have some of the easiest flights, Muscat turnaround, 45 minutes to Muscat and one hour on the ground 45 minutes back to Dubai. Day over. Easy. Most flights are average depends on the destination, time of departure etc. If the crew are motivated its always easy, if you have lazy crew on your flight, well, god help you cos your day will be HELL and you will just want to jump out the plane.

On a typical month without leave, you will get 9 days off, sometimes more, rarely less. I always stalk rosters when they come up, everyone I check gets minimum 9. You can get more though but the average is 9 I guess. You can work 7 days in a row but usually you will only have 4-5 ta in this period or for example two layovers back to back.

Honestly, I get tired from the flying and some flights are really tiring (long red eye turnaround) but its easy to manage your rest before flights, which is something a lot of our crew have NO idea how to do. Its normal to find out crew have hardly slept before flights.

No unions, its true, you should have known that before you joined Emirates though, try do some research on the company before joining. A the end of the day, Emirates is a fair employer, they are a business and want to make money, don't expect too much or give to much, do your job and if you don't enjoy it then your in the wrong business!
Everyone likes to complain about the company, but at the end of the day, its a fair company, nothing out of this world, but its nothing short of fair.

We have some absolutely useless crew, SORRY but its true, who should not be working in any customer service business, Emirates can not fire them and they honestly get away with murder. I know a some (2) people who have been fired by Emirates and it was all for legitimate reasons. We have crew who are constantly absent or calling in sick, getting really bad feedback from crew and passengers and they are still flying, so please don't believe rumors that say EK fire you for any reason, there is always a reason and honestly its usually something serious.
国外论坛上有名cc说,阿航不会怎么辞退人。她认识的只有2个人被辞退了,都是涉及法律上的原因。
虽然crew会有不断地ab,请病假,不好的评价,但是他们仍然在飞。
阿航不会随便辞退人,当真的要辞的时候,背后的原因肯定是严重的。

Actually thinking about it, its not just the new crew at fault, it can be senior crew too. With regards to new crew though, they seriously are getting younger, when I joined we had ONE 21 year old in our batch, most were between 23-28. 21 is way too young to move to a totally foreign country, especially if you have never lived overseas before. Some crew join and are instantly homesick, they have never left living with there family, I honestly think the airline should stop recruiting crew who have little or no life experience. Its draining and not fair on the rest of the crew and even themselves! Some people seriously come here and they think its going to be like vegas, pool party, clubbing, travelling the world bla bla bla. I go on a flight and its really bad to see what the crew are like SOMETIMES, fighting with the senior crew, questioning decisions they make, honestly the most annoying thing is they want to sit down and have a chat the whole flight. Its really difficult to work in a condition like that when people are not demotivated they just don't give a sh*t about what they are doing and these are crew who are fresh on the line. Senior crew can be a headacke too because some just don't care and really let the whole service slip and it really shows, they often do not follow service standards which results in crew constantly flying under different service styles and saying 'oh this SFS (in charge of cabin econamy or business class) did this different to you so you are wrong etc' and it really causes a headacke!.
这一段生活的是太过年轻的crew在飞的时候,经常挑战资深cc。
以为搬到国外就是拉斯维加斯,派对呀,自我意识很强啊。我觉得这一段。。在中国cc身上还是问题不大的。
跟他们比,中国人干事就是利索,不偷懒。

Life in Dubai is not comparable to anywhere else or any other city. I sometimes love Dubai, sometimes hate it, its HOT and I mean HOT as hell, like you have opened an oven and the heat has hit your face, for around 4 months of the year (may-September) and the rest of the year is nice like 25-35 degrees centigrade, but some people get totally fed up with seeing constant sunshine everyday when they are in Dubai, weird but true. I do enjoy my life here though.
天气:每天就是热热热。像开了火炉一样,一年大概四个月(5-9月)就是超级热!

To all the new crew joining soon, some tips. Life is what you make it and life is short so enjoy everyday, you can do anything you want to do. If you hate Dubai and the job just go home, but make an effort to adjust and try and enjoy the job, its hard work but wow its so rewarding at the end of the day, you get a whole wealth of experience which is valuable to you for the rest of your life! Dubai is what YOU make it. Socialize and make friends. Everyone is in the same boat, so make friends, stay positive and be happy, if you have great friends, it doesn't matter where you are you will have a fabulous time. Don't take the job too seriously, its just a job, go to work smile try and enjoy your flight and come home and forget all about it, every flight is different. If you are from the UK or Europe and really home sick, remember you can easily go home on even four days off in a row, try and grow with this experience cos you cant live at home with mum and dad forever! Easy to get UK layovers!

DONT CALL IN SICK UNLESS YOU ARE SICK. Some people call in sick for the same flights all the time. Your manager is not an idiot, they will know if you constantly call in for the same flight that you are in 'I don't care mode'. People call in sick way too often and I am sure majority are not relate to any actual sickness!

Honestly sometimes I understand why Management treats everyone like kids, its because some crew are just crazy with regards to some things.

Some of the problems EK crew complain about the most is:

1 Not enough rest onboard For example: 7 hour Heathrow flight, two services, you can honestly be working the whole damn flight. Especially if you have a dysfunctional SFS (in charge of the cabin) and lazy crew. Crew then complain 'oh but I need a break now its legally required'. Ok yeah this is a hell flight and everything is going wrong but unfortinalty we can not just stop doing our job because we are meant to have a break. If a doctor is in an ER and has non stop patients to treat, he wont just say 'break time' when people are dying. Ok obviously people wont die if they don't get a drink or meals served to them etc but you should take responsibility and give and take, SOMETIMES situations occur when you have to work extra hard and its called give and take. All jobs are like that.
1、飞行时间无足够时间休息
例子:7小时的希斯罗,2个服务,一个航班下来,没办法休息!有时是你有一个不正常的乘务长还有懒的cc。
她们会喊:在法律上,我需要休息啊。
在急救室里,医生要不断地接病人,当病人快要死的时候,他不能说我现在要休息了啊。
哈哈哈哈哈,好好笑的例子。

2 Never get the flights they want: The flights the majority of crew want are, LA, Seattle, Nice, Barcelona, Geneva, Stockholm, Luanda. They compromise 6/7 flights a day out of 200 on average. I am sure these are the flights that are most sought after. Realistically you wont get these flights unless you are in a top bid group. We have seven rotational bid groups for our crew btw, so bottom bid group ie 1-4 bid smart and you can get nice flights but be realistic and don't be over confident, top two if you know how to bid and are smart, you can get what you want. Obviously this is just an example but hope it explains it. Also people ALWAYS complain about turnarounds, ok they are about 35% of all our flights. Honestly they are not bad at all, and trust me Give me an Amman turnaround or Mumbai any day over most layover because at least I get to come back to my bed and have no jetlag. I find turnarounds as long as they are not too long (Chennai, Beirut, Istanbul etc are the long ones) can help balance you out. Some crew swap them all for layover and end up with way way way too many hours and then are absolutely dead and say the company makes them fly too much...

3 Layovers too short: You can judge this, as a rule they are all 24 hours. Some are more like 30 hours or 36 depending on the flight schedule. Long flights (LAX, SFO, SEA, DFW, IAH) are 48 hours. Luanda is 48/72 hour layover. Some are shorter than 24 hours like Seychelles, its 15 hours or 18 hours and twice a week we have 24 hour layover  some people hate it as its too short, but its a 4 hour flight there and back so its easy for me. One of our Manila flights is 18 hour layover. Its a 8 hour flight, layover and then 9 hour flight back. I have not operated this flight but honestly its a good flight BECAUSE 18 hours is enough to REST, infact its perfect, gives you time for Dinner relax, sleep, wake up , breakfast and then you can fly back to Dubai. Also its good hours for a two day trip. These are the only short layovers under 24 hours that I can think of...

Anyway guys, enough from me. If anyone has any questions please fire back. To new crew, research Dubai before you come. Its not strict like they make out in the media, you can wear the same clothes you do in UK for example, just try and remember this is a Muslim country so try dress respectable, but once you get here you will see that doesn't really wash with many people haha. Its hot, it is a lot of fun with the right people. If you like to party this is a nice place for you. If you are only into arts and culture , you will hate it. I like cultural stuff but its not my only preoccupation so maybe that's how I survived. Be prepared to work in a huge multicultural company with people from all over the world, you have to adjust to work in that kind of environment and learn cultural differences!

EK招的姑娘,综合素质杠杠的。跟我同期面试现在在飞的,有香港浸大研究森emmi,南开的,保研的。。暨大当然,学历不是衡量EK CC的唯一标准,但是就一句话:综合素质。
综合素质提高的过程,并非一蹴而就。也许她们不会在意到的小细节,已经成为了她们的一部分。
而,这正正是我们缺少的,需要work on it的部分。


这里的综合素质怎么理解呢? —看起来你就像一个在职CC,公司可以用最少的资源,在最短的时间里培训你成为CC。


外观
综合来说,要给人看起来,是健康的,以大多数人的审美观念来说? 何为健康?
乌黑亮泽,唇红齿白
1、头发:黑发为佳,不适宜太夸张的发色。毛躁的,请用7块钱超级好用的好迪!
2、牙齿
3、眼睛:这个非常重要!要注意眼神交流!不能到处看,老外们很注重这个。
4、皮肤
5、嘴唇:亲和力的养成可以通过多笑——笑唇
6、站姿、走姿、不要驼背。
     
其实以上,只是细节需要注重的地方。
我的方法是:做运动!!!


我现在每天都沉浸在salsa的愉悦心情当中!
每天练练腹肌啊,做做有氧运动啊。
当你坚持运动下来了,身材好了,人也自信得多了!
听着歌,跟着音乐的节奏走路,脚下生风。哈哈哈哈
我现在只要一个星期不做运动,精神萎靡。。赘肉横生。。

我来了。国庆节过得还好吗?好久不更新。
最近好忙哟,办了个健身卡,参加了salsa莎莎舞的课程。从星期一到天每天晚上都争取运动。
运动了就会开心,开心了就会有积极正能量。这样艾瑞巴蒂都能感到动感激光!!!!biu biu biu biu


最近在微博看到QR的cc写了关于面外航的问题——为什么你想要当CC?
身边认识的朋友也有一些飞了不久,就开始想辞职的。
身边也有一些没有面上的朋友,包括我自己,对现在的工作感到不满意,想要换工作。


我是这样想的。
Cabin Crew at the end of the day, it just a job.
工作,有了开心的时刻,自然会有不开心的时候。不开心就不开心呗,反正总有一天会开心的。总不能每一天都开开心心的吧。
天气也不可能每一天都是放晴的呀!


Cabin Crew只是一份职业,不同的生活方式。
哪一种生活方式,都要换着法子给自己找乐子吧。一个人也能high那种,个人觉得自己是最适合当CC的。
因为ta找到了与自己相处的方法。


距离OD还有39天了。
有一点小激动,有点小紧张。
开始准备各种材料了

很棒的姑娘,面不上没天理了!加油祝福你,运动会给人带来自信的,相信自己一定能拿下。我也是最近才开始收集资料准备面EK 11月广州站。

分享一点这次11月站的小消息。

AD Briefing的时候萌子姐说,11月的考官Randa对apperance的要求还蛮高的。(不只是讲脸,皮肤也是apperance)。至于进了final的姑娘给人的感觉嘛,不能用美这个词来形容,用soft,具有亲和力的笑容,连声音都带着笑容的内种最好。林志玲那样就太过了。
AD里有个妹子被淘汰,子南瞄到的feedback是“look worried”,给人感觉看起来好像在担忧什么。
然后JMS们在外面讨论,觉得有可能是眉形的问题。
多看看镜子,看看自己的形象具不具有亲和力,有酒窝的很赞哦。
这么多年,现在才发现长着一张大圆脸不是什么坏事。。

有时候就差在一点点运气,我朋友面试2年了,哪个航空都没面上,还有一个只面了一次,就考上JAL了,真的,说不准。我也想考EK啊,梦想之光在闪耀,呵呵
